Poul Nørreklit for Georg Petersens Møbelfabrik selectform desk model 'GP 160'
A vintage mid-century desk designed by Poul Nørreklit for Georg Petersens Møbelfabrik.
The desk is part of the selectform range model 'GP 160'.
The desk has an black lacquered finish with brushed steel drawer fronts and chrome draw pulls. This all sit up a lucite base that gives the impression the desk is floating in mid air.
The back is finished on all sides so can be placed in the middle of the room.
A wonderful piece.

Condition
The desk has undergone a full but sentitive restoration. The top was stripped and ebonised before being polished.
The lucite legs have been sanded and polished, to remove the light scratches.
There are still some signs of use as you would expect from something of this age.
