Vintage Mid-century Remploy writing desk/bureau in Ash designed by Dinah Casson
This is mid-century desk/bureau is fabulous!
As part of the 'Ash Occasional' Range designed by Dinah Casson in 1979.
It is a simple yet timelessly elegant design with a drop down front that exposed a writing area and red pidgon holes to the rear. Despite being designed many moons ago, they look like they could have been designed yesterday.
The writing desk/bureau sits on top of a pedestal base, which has a larger foot print. This change in dimensions is linked with bevelled edges which have shadow gaps!
The bureau also has a self built into the base.

Condition Report
The bureau is in excellent vintage condition with only a few light marks. The item has been polished and is looking fabulous!
