The 'little man' carton which Mel is known for is pictured struggaling to carry a large read heart.
This large piece was an extravagant Valentines Card gifted to Marion Wasser, his girlfriend of the time (the picture has survived far better than their relationship)
Melville Calman (19 May 1931 – 10 February 1994) was a famous British cartoonist best known for his "little man" cartoons published in British newspapers including the Daily Express (1957–63), The Sunday Telegraph (1964–65), The Observer (1965-6), The Sunday Times (1969–84) and The Times (1979–94)

Condition Report
The print which is on paper is streched over plywood. There are alot of stains and tears to the corners of the print which you could argue sympolise any long term relationship. Whilst there is marks, it would look incredible float mounted in a large box frame.
