A vintage mid-century sideboard attributed to Kofod Larsen for Faarup Mobelfabrik
The sideboard has 2 sliding doors that open to reveal a spacious interior with a single shelf on the right and a shelf and 2 sliding drawers on the left. Both of the drawers are lined with felt.
The top of the unit and the sliding doors have sections where the grain of the wood has been rotated by 90 degrees. This not only adds a point of interest, but also elevates the item far beyond most sideboards of the period.
Unfortunately the sideboard does not have the original Faarup stickers, but the cabinet is identical to other items with the stickers in tact.

Condition Report
The item has been stripped back to bare wood and finished with a wax oil. There are some small marks associated with age, but overall this is a fantastic item.
