A vintage mid-century Danish Borge Mogensen 5272 rattan coffee table/bench

The frame is solid oak with 5mm lapping cane covering acting as the surface. Believed to have been designbed primarily as a coffee table it is also suitable as an occasional bench.
It would look amazing in an living room or placed at the foot of a bed.
The original canes have taken on a rich caramel colour which is beautifully offset by the new lapping cane.

Condition Report
The bench has been refreshed with boiled linseed oil which has brought out the rich colours in the cane.
All the damage cane has all been replaced with new cane which adds a lovely contract to the original cane.
