A very rare mid-century compact drinks cabinet made by Heals of London.
The cabinet is made from rosewood and mahogany and sits on ebonised legs.
The unit has a lift up lid and a drop down front that exposes a large interior with a glass shelf for pouring you drinks and a mahogany box shelf. Both selves slideforeward and back.
The fronts of the cabinet and the interior is solid mahogany and the case is made from rosewood.
The cabinet was purchased in 1956 as part of a set which includes a chest of drawers cabinet and a sideboard.
These items are very rare and rarely come to market especially as a set.
A wonderful piece of mid-century design.
