A mid-century Danish side table by Illum Wikkelsø for Hjørring Møbel in teak

A wonderful teak side table by Illum Wikkelsø for Hjørring Møbel. This table has wonderful proportions and great presence in the room. They were designed as part of a modular system with chairs and tables that shared a common base design which could be arranged into a variety of combinations. 
The drawer has two recessed pull handles that are very unique and extremely stylish.
The bases and drawer cabinet are independent parts, and slot together with teak tabs underneath.
The table has a capacious divided drawer, it would make a great side table and due to its low slung proportions would look great with a large lamp on top.
It is  finished on all sides, so would be great in an open-plan space where they are visible from multiple angles.
